Steven Barbarich is many things. He is an author, an entrepreneur, philanthropist, CEO, and an inventor. He is a man of many talents who graduated from Harvey Mudd College with an engineering degree.
As an inventor, he has brought many products to market, including those of independent inventors as well as his own. He founded the company Inventors Publishing and Research Company, which has shown significant growth and is indeed thriving.
His book The Complete Guide to Making Money from Your Inventions and Patents has helped many people gain insight as to what is really involved in creating a new product and bringing it to market. Most people believe that product research is asking around from friends and family as to their opinions on a new idea or product that has been considered by them, but nothing is further from the truth. He has shown and in fact proven that nothing could be further from the truth.
His company, IP-R helps these people to bring their inventions to reality however. The company most recently added a new division call goProto which engineers prototypes, taking an inventors idea from paper to a real life product. IP-R also conducts intensive market research to test reactions to new ideas.
A bad buying experience online also led Steve to founding a new company, choosehottubsdirect which was built on the foundation that the customer deserves the best possible service they can get, but he didn't stop there and added chooseswimspasdirect and chooseoutdoorkitchensdirect as well.
As a philanthropist, he was instrumental in pledging a portion of company profits from the sale of a style of hot tub carried by the company, and donating it to the fund raising effort to assist in relief when Hurricane Ike hit the Gulf Coast in Texas.
The man truly has a heart when it comes to people, constantly looking for ways to help those in need and striving to maintain high levels of customer service in his business. Everything his companies do has something to with helping in one way or another, whether it's helping to bring an independent inventors product to market, or saving people significant sums of money on high end hot tubs, swim spas and outdoor kitchen products.
He is responsible for creating several companies including ChooseDirect which is the parent of the hot tub, swim spa and outdoor kitchen sites, Inventors Publishing and Research, and AbsolutelyNew which is a marketing company that focuses on bring new products to market as well.
