The talent of Filipinos are very much recognized around the world. There have been so many competitions around the world that showcased Filipino greatness. Did you know that many of the celebrities in the world today are Filipino? There are so many great Filipino talents that have become household due to their popularity either on television, film or music. Maybe you will find it surprising that the following celebrities are half-Filipino. This list comprises the most well-known celebrities with Filipino blood running through their veins.

1) Rob Schneider

Mr. Deuce Bigalow himself is one of the most famous comedians in the world today. His works together with Adam Sandler has earned him international recognition. He has been known as a very good comedian and a very versatile person at that. He played so many characters during his stay on 'Saturday Night Live' and he has also become one of the most well-loved lead comedic actors of this generation. His mother is Half-Filipino and his grandparents definitely are Filipino. Though his looks don't really easily give way the fact that he has Filipino blood on his veins, his height rather tells it all.

2) Batista

Dave Bautista also known as 'Batista' of the World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the most idolized wrestlers of today. His fan base has grown internationally. Starting out as as heel in the WWE, Batista started his career in professional wrestling as a member of the now-defunct 'Evolution' which grouped him with 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, third generation superstar Randy Orton and 'The Game' Triple H. Today, he has earned his respect from everyone and has become a World Champion. During one of the WWE's world tours, Batista graced his fellow countrymen and received a welcoming party like nowhere else. He has a tattoo of a Filipino flag on his left arm.

3) Lou Diamond Phillips

Probably the name is the give away answer that he is Filipino. But during his early years as an actor, people thought that Lou is a Mexican. His portrayal on the movie 'La Bamba' definitely made him an instant celebrity. From there on, he became the celebrity that we all know. He was born in the Subic Bay Naval Station in the Philippines and his mother is Filipina.

4) Vanessa Minillo

This former TRL host became famous due to this TV show in MTV. 'Total Request Live' jumpstarted Vanessa's career. She was also a famous Miss Teen USA. With such beauty comes Filipino blood. She was born in Clark Air Force Base in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. Her mom, Helen Berecero is a Filipina also from the province of Pampanga, located in the Northern part of Luzon. His beauty is definitely of a typical Filipina. It's no wonder that Americans love her and even considered her a Miss Teen USA.

5) Vanessa Anne Hudgens

Well, probably, those who don't see the Filipina look of Vanessa must probably be blind. This half-Filipina beauty is the star of the most popular teen movie shown on TV, which is Highschool Musical. Her features are clearly of a typical Filipina. Her beauty is embraced by many people, especially teens that admire Highschool Musical
