In today's world of fashion, you have so many materials for you to choose when it comes to your lovely handbags. Leather and silk are quite expensive and famous for being difficult to take care of.

How about the lower class materials for handbags? The most common materials seem to be suede and plastics. Today, we are going to look closer to each type of material at both the pros and cons before you decide on which one you would like to have.

First of all, let's talk about suede. Suede is a very common fabric which is used for your boots, your coats, sofa covers, etc. In terms of bags, suede is one of the most common materials as well. The big advantage of suede is that it has various colors and styles. You can look very stylish in your own way with suede handbags. Some people even prefer suede than other materials like leather or silk because handbag designers can make tons of different designs from suede.

If you look at the handbag market now, you can see that most of the bags for the low or middle class people are made of suede. They are even favorites for some famous people because of its big variety. However, suede's downside is that it gets dirty easily and once you have that dirt, it seems impossible to remove from the bag. Therefore, it is best to keep your lovely bags away from anything which can make it dirty like liquid or dirt.

When it is not in use, you should definitely put it on its own container because it will prevent the bags from getting dust from the air, and keep the surface of the suede look better and newer. Another downside of suede is that it looks worn out a bit in just a short period of time after being used. Some people buy the bags and expect to use them at least a year. However, after only one month, the suede looks like you have been using it for a year, which is not good for people who cannot afford new bags often.

Now, we come to plastic bags. Plastics bags are becoming more and more useful and convenient. The biggest advantage which no other bags can have is that it can be water-proof. You can use it on sunny days and do not have to worry when you get wet in the rain or things like that. Some people have very important documents or ID cards inside their bags, and it would be terrible if the bag gets wet.

In addition, plastic bags are more than that. They have a huge variety of colors and styles. This kind of bag will suits any age group from young to old people and you do not have to worry if you look too old with this material.

Also, another huge advantage of this material is that it is super cheap. While you have to pay a couple of hundred dollars for your leather handbags, it can cost you even as low as 10 dollars to have a plastic handbag. However, because it is cheap and for casual occasions, it would not be wise to wear it to a very formal event like a meeting or a press conference. Your expensive outfit will look ridiculous with this kind of bag if you combine them together.
