Lots of people when travelling oversea are not well-prepared and then, when they are there, they realize that they left so many things at home that they should have brought with them. So, how to prepare your luggage well when you are going to travel oversea? Here are some tips for you.

First of all, bring a copy of your passport with you. Of course, you definitely will bring your passport with you, but you need some extra copies of your passport. Imagine you are going out there, bringing your passport with you, and you are picking pocketed. How would you deal with this if you do not have a copy of your passport with you? Also, if you wish to go to some big organization, where they require you to show your ID or passport, and you have to bring them with you. So, you can do no wrong bringing some copies of your passport with you. Any organization accepts copies of your passport, and you do not have to bring your passport with you anymore. Therefore, you will never have to worry about losing your important document, which causes many troubles if you lose it, especially time.

Secondly, bring a book which teaches you how to say some survival words in the language of the country you are going to. You never what will happen, so make sure you can communicate at least at the survival level in case. For example, you get lost in a country where you do not speak any language. At least, you have something in writing; you can show it to them. Or you can try saying it, you are good enough. Also, it would be very nice when you go to a country, and you try to speak their language. People would enjoy more, and probably you will make more friends.

Thirdly, bring some common medicine with you. Don't ever think that you are healthy and you never need that. You never know what is going to happen. So, remember to bring some. Of course, you may find some pharmacy in that country. However, are you sure that they understand fully your problem, and they give you the right medicine. So, it is always helpful to bring some with you. They do not take a lot of space, and for sure, they will make your travel more enjoyable and safer.

Last but not least, look out for information if they accept US dollar in that country. Most of people from developed countries assume that people accept US dollars everywhere, but it's not true. In Japan, only in big restaurants and hotels, they accept US dollar. Otherwise, you have to use Yen. So if they do not, make sure you have some local currency wherever you go so that you can pay for what you buy or what you eat. ATM is not available everywhere either. Especially in developing countries, they have limited number of ATMS, so remember to bring some cash with you. However, don't bring too much, or you will be the victim of thief.
