Since woman nowadays are waiting longer to get hitched chances are, you have raked up some ex-boyfriends and unfortunately, some are harder to get over than the others. So you are trapped-big time- from the memories of the past. What would you do?

Experts says that in order to have a healthy life, one that is moving in a healthy direction, you need to determine once and for all, where an ex fits into your life or he will continue to affect you and yes, your future relationships. But would it be possible to be just friends with an ex? The answer, I believe is in the affirmative. The romance may lose its spark but there is nothing wrong with enjoying each other's company in a friendly and platonic manner. There is however, one risk, that is, if you are both single, you may not be able to bother to meet other men because you will feel comfortable with the same guy. So in going for the friendship relationship with an ex, remember not to shut out any prospects that may pop out or come along your way.

Relationships rarely end well, but when they end in a nice way, you can sure afford to keep your ex in your life in a semi-detached kind of way. Through this way, you can start to see him as a person rather than an ex who brought some heartache in your life. Think of him as a remote reminder of what you want and what you do not want in such way you will have a clear vision of what you really want for a partner or in a relationship that you would treasure for a lifetime. This does not mean irking when you think of him or staying away from him completely and pondering on the thoughts that I should not have gone with him.

Remember that you parted in a nice way, so after realizing that he is not the one and that no matter how ugly his manners are, do not ever stay away from him and treat him as if he is a plague. At the very least, you can keep in touch with your friendly ex without experiencing any emotional damage. You can even call him for a night out without the string and booty call that is. Recycling friends from the past can feel a lot cozier and safer than picking up a random guy in the bar.

For some guys in a girl's past life, the idea of being a guy is to serve one purpose that is to torture you. Like for example, the thought of him with someone else can bring you to tears and yet you still keep on seeing him, even on just the role of being his ex. Bad news is, destructive habits are indeed hard to break. There are person in our lives that become like a drug and you become addicted to them in the real sense of the word. So when the relationship after the real relationship becomes destructive and toxic, consider disentangling methods from a destructive ex. One method is through quitting the obsession. Try staying away from him, snapping your self when you think of him, and have a reality checklist that includes the biggest words "it is all in the past now."
