I am a big fan of pets and I have a lot of pets at home. One time I traveled to Asia and I was not able to bring my cat with me. I missed her so much and I felt very miserable without her. Several months ago, I decided to do a search of how to travel with your pets and tried out some ways they suggested. It turns out brilliant that I seem to enjoy my trip much more when I went traveling with my pets, and did not have to worry asking someone to take care of my pets when I am away. So, today I am going to share with you some of my experiences in this to help you to some extent if you plan to bring your lovely pets with you the next time when you travel.
First of all, if you are traveling by air, you should do a search for airlines which allow pets. Do not assume that every airline allows pets on the plane. Some of them do not, so you have to look at their website and see what their policies are. If they do not say anything, make sure you call them to ask. You can do no wrong asking because you never know what will happen. What if you assume that they allow pets on their planes and you bring your lovely pets to the airport and have to come back, waste your ticket because they do not let your pets go on the plane. So, make sure you ask them even twice to make sure that you pets are okay on their planes.
Once you find the airlines which allow your pet in you will do the next the following steps. Now we have to look at hotels or guesthouses which allow pets. Usually you can find some of them easily on Google. Just type: "Pet friendly hotels or guesthouses"; it will show you tons of results. Make a list of both the facility and prices, and then pick one you find the most suitable. However, you still need to make a phone call to ask them if they allow pets for sure. Because some sites say so but they do not mean it, and imagine when you are there and you cannot go in because of your pets. After this is set, you go to the next step, which is transportation (not by air).
In some countries, they do not let pets in the public transportation. So, if you are in those countries, you have to arrange your own private transportation when you go out with your pets. However, sometimes you also want your pets enjoy things with you. You can also look for information about pets' entertainment. Most of the pet friendly hotels would have this kind of service. For example, they may take care of your dogs when you want to go out alone or they may feed and wash them for you if you are too busy. Or even in some places, they even offer the service to take your dogs for a walk. So, make sure you arrange them all before you go.
