Honeymoon is the once in a life time occasion, so you want to make it as special as possible. This article is going to help you make it unforgettable.

First, do not go to the busy place even if you are a big fan of shopping. Big cities, hot tourism spots are definitely not a good place for your honeymoon if you do not want to get stuck in a big crowd, and traffic jam. Quiet places should be put on the top priority. If you are are going on honeymoon in summer, go to mountainous areas, or the place which you think people would not rush there in summer like beaches.

Second, do not go abroad unless you know some people there or you have been there before. Imagine you are in a country where you do not know anybody and speak any language. You will have a lot of difficulties with communication and things like that. You would not enjoy staying there. If you are going abroad, make sure you have some local people there, who would show you both where to go, which place to eat, and if you want to do some light shopping, you will know which offers the best deal. If you want to go abroad, make sure you bring a survival language book, map and have someone's number so that you can call in case you need translation.

Third, well-prepared luggage is a must. Imagine you are in the highland, it is quite cold, and all clothes you brought are for summer only. Also, bring some medicine in the luggage in case you are bitten by the bucks or you feel sick. You would feel much better with some sort of common medicine with you because when you travel, it will takes time to go to a pharmacy, and it is likely that the pharmacist will prescribe you another kind of medicine, which you are not used to. So, some medicine can help you at anytime you want and they do not take much space.

My friends went to a highland area for their honeymoon. The first day went well, but then the second day, the wife had a terrible headache. They did not bring any medicine with you because they were in a rush after the wedding, they went straight on honeymoon. Unfortunately they could not find the right medicine for her, and they had to go back to the town the day after that. We do not expect that bad thing to happen, but we are always careful, and well-prepared for any bad things which may happen.

Finally if you fly by plane or go by train, make sure you call them one day in advance to make sure about the time. If you do not live near the train station or airport, try to find out how far it takes to travel there, how you can travel there, and make sure you arrive there before the train or the flight starts.
