Honeymoon is the time when you want to spend most of your time with your husband or wife, so actually honeymoon travel is not really traveling. The most important thing for honeymoon travel is that how the couple feels when they are together. So, here are the things we need to pay attention when we arrange a travel for our honeymoon.
You should be well-prepared for your honeymoon so that you have everything when you are there. Check out the weather forecast by watching the T.V news about weather forecast, or log onto the website about the place you both are going to search for information about the local weather.
In terms of place to stay, it is best to consult friends who already went there before. They experienced that before, so they should have the best advice. Also, if you have a local friend or relative there, then call them to ask. They will know for sure a bunch of places where you can pick the best one within your budget.
If you are going for honeymoon in summer, you should go to mountains. It has fresh air, not many people hanging out. You can have your own private area without other people interruption. Also, while people are running to the beach, not many people are going to the mountains, you for sure can have a very good deal of price. Check out a list of hotels or guesthouses which you can find online, from internet, from newspaper or your local friends, comparing them all, and pick one that satisfies all of you requirements. Of course, you do not want to stay in a bad hotel for your honeymoon. Therefore, they should have at least basic conditions like cable TV, A.C, and especially a good bed, which is very important for a newly couple.
If you are going for honeymoon in winter, you should go to the beach. It is very quiet in winter. The sea is also much cleaner in this season. You also can swim if you are brave enough to stand up with the cold. However, you can have a lot of things besides swimming on the beach like you both can have a fire, which you can grill some fish over or just sitting next to each other to feel the air, or at night looking at the falling stars.
For air ticket, definitely you should book the tickets in advance. I myself experience selling out of air ticket before. We thought that there were plenty of tickets so we did not book in advance. However, it turned out that we got married in wedding season, and the place we planned to go to is a quite hot spot. Therefore, most of the couples chose them as their destinies for their honeymoon. Eventually we could not buy air tickets, and had to go somewhere else by train. That's why my best advice is that you should book your air ticket as soon as possible, right after when you both decide where to go, which hotel to stay, and which airline you will fly with, which in the mean time can help save you a lot of money because you may be offered a promotion.
